RRB NTPC UG CBT 2 Exam Pattern 2026
The syllabus is the same as CBT 1. The weightage is not. General Awareness jumps from 40 to 50 questions, and that single change decides most selections.
- Duration: 90 minutes (120 minutes for eligible PwBD candidates with scribe).
- Negative marking: 1/3 mark deducted per wrong answer.
- Scores are normalised across shifts, so a slightly harder shift does not put you at a disadvantage.

General Awareness (50 marks): your selection section
Half the CBT 2 questions come from static GK, general science and current affairs. Railways loves last-12-month current affairs, so revise from September 2025 onward.
