- RBI's e-fraud compensation framework now starts in January 2027. A first-time victim can get up to ₹25,000 or 85% of the loss, whichever is lower, with banks given 45 days for domestic complaints and 60 days for cross-border ones.

- A Badri cow calf was born on 11 September 2026 through Ovum Pick-Up and In Vitro Fertilisation at the G.B. Pant Academic Dairy Farm. Badri is Uttarakhand's indigenous hill cattle breed.

One Honest Caveat Before You Memorise This
Two items on this page are not fully nailed down. ISRO had not put out a confirmed launch date for GISAT-1A when this was compiled, and the Henley Passport Index rank for India has been printed differently by different portals. Carry both with a question mark and cross-check the ISRO site and the Henley release before you treat them as settled.
