Bihar and Jharkhand Special
This is the section BPSC, BSSC, Bihar Police, JSSC, JPSC and TET aspirants should not skip. State-specific current affairs carry more marks per hour of study than national news, because far fewer candidates prepare it properly.
- 22. The BPSC TRE 4.0 notification is out for 32,388 teacher vacancies, with online applications opening on 1 September 2026. Posts span Classes 1 to 5, 6 to 8, 9 to 10 and 11 to 12. Exam tag: BPSC / BTET / TET

- 26. The Jharkhand High Court then stayed the cancellation orders for JSSC-CGL and CDPO recruitment, allowing appointed employees to keep working while the case is heard. The matter is still sub judice, so treat any "final" claim you see on social media with suspicion. Exam tag: JSSC / JPSC

One honest caveat. Exam dates circulating for BPSC TRE 4.0 differ between coaching portals, with 22 to 27 September 2026 being the most repeated window. Treat that as reported and not confirmed (verify), and check bpsc.bihar.gov.in before you plan anything around it.

Final Word
Three items from today are the ones most likely to reappear in November and December papers: the RAKSHA document, the 18th BRICS Summit in New Delhi, and the 498 km/h Ahuti Mk II record. Write those on the back page of your notebook and revise them weekly.
For Bihar and Jharkhand aspirants, treat the TRE 4.0 and JSSC-CGL developments as moving targets. Court orders change status, and a fact that was correct on 4 September may not be correct on 4 October. Check the commission website before you quote a number in an interview.
