- 1. India and MERCOSUR signed the First Additional Protocol on electronic Certificates of Origin on 15 September 2026. The protocol amends Article 16 of Annex III of the 2004 India-MERCOSUR Preferential Trade Agreement so that an electronic Certificate of Origin now carries the same legal weight as a paper one. - 15. ISRO launched EOS-05 aboard GSLV-F17 from the Second Launch Pad at Satish Dhawan Space Centre, Sriharikota on 4 September 2026 at 2:55 am IST. It was the 19th flight of the GSLV programme and placed the satellite in a sub-Geosynchronous Transfer Orbit.
