One Honest Caveat Before You Memorise This
The September CPI number is provisional. MoSPI revises the monthly series, so if a paper set in December asks for September 2026 inflation, the official answer may have moved a decimal. Quote 5.54% and move on, but do not argue with an answer key over the second decimal.
The CBAM investigation item is aggregator-sourced and is marked (verify) above. Treat it as background reading, not as a number to learn. Everything else here traces back to MoSPI, the RBI, the Ministry of Home Affairs, WIPO, the Nobel Foundation or state government announcements.
One practical habit: write these 20 facts into a single notebook page tonight, then attempt today's 15-question quiz on ExamAtlas tomorrow morning without looking back here. Daily current affairs only works if you revisit it on day 2 and day 7. Reading it once is how aspirants lose five marks they had already earned.
