Below are 28 facts from the last 24 hours, each tagged with the exams it actually matters for. The 15-question quiz built from these facts sits in the daily quiz on the platform. Bihar and Jharkhand aspirants, go straight to the state section: BPSC and BSSC both moved this week.

This is where the state-exam money sits. Two commissions moved paperwork this week, and a third is about to.

  • 23. The BPSC 72nd Combined Competitive Examination (Prelims) has been postponed till further notice. It had been slated for late October, and the commission cited unavoidable circumstances without giving a fresh date. The cycle carries 1,186 vacancies (revised figures of 1,187 also appear in reports). (BPSC)
  • 24. BSSC Inter Level (10+2) vacancies have been revised upward to 26,426 from 24,492, against 23,175 and 12,199 in earlier revisions of the same cycle. The exam date is still awaited (verify the final schedule on bssc.bihar.gov.in). (BSSC)

Where to focus tomorrow

Two things on this list will almost certainly be asked twice. The 114-medal Asian Para Games tally is the kind of record that shows up in both a direct question and a comparison question against Hangzhou 2023, so learn the 30-35-49 split and the fourth-place finish together. The HDFC Bank leadership change is standard banking-section fodder, and examiners love pairing an incoming name with the outgoing one.

One honest caveat on the state section. The BPSC 72nd prelims date and the BSSC Inter Level schedule are both unsettled, and aggregator sites are reporting slightly different vacancy numbers. Treat the figures above as the current reading, not the final word, and check bpsc.bihar.gov.in and bssc.bihar.gov.in before you plan a revision calendar around either date. The Kieron Pollard coaching appointment is also marked for verification.
