Books, Authors and Firsts in India

Two of the most predictable static GK areas are "who wrote this book" and "who was the first Indian to do this". Classic books (ancient texts, freedom-movement books, Booker winners) repeat every cycle, and recent books by public figures are added each year. Firsts are best learned in groups: first in politics, first women, first in sport and space.
